I'm still trying to find my morning, evening and bedtime routines. After a long spell of covid, furlough, unemployment and starting a new job, I still feel like I'm chasing my own tail and doing everything last minute. I know all the theory behind setting routines but I'm a scatterbrain (and have ADHD) so the actual doing is nowhere near as easy as the planning would have me believe.
My goals are something like
Morning
Get up
Go to the bathroom
Have breakfast
Journal
Take morning medications
Wash/shower
Moisturise
Get dressed
Put on perfume & makeup
Catch the bus
Evening
Change out of work clothes
Cook dinner
Wash, dry & put away dishes
Tidy up
Blog/journal
Relax
Bedtime
Make a hot drink
Take evening medications
Read for 30 minutes
Go to the bathroom
Brush teeth
Wash
Get in bed
But far too often I hit snooze on my alarm, roll out of bed with barely enough time to get washed & dressed before running for the bus. I get home, sit down and suddenly it's 8pm, then I blink again and it's way passed bedtime. And that stresses me out so I need to find a way of getting this working better for me
